Listening: Ordering in a Café
Understand a short café conversation and the polite phrases used to order food and drink.

Listen for three moments in every service conversation: the offer, the order and the payment.
- Offer: What can I get you? / Are you ready to order?
- Order: I'll have a coffee, please. Could I get a sandwich as well?
- Payment: That'll be forty dirhams. Cash or card?
Prices and numbers are the hardest part. Practise hearing thirteen versus thirty: the stress moves to the end in thirteen.
