Telling the time
- 7:00 - seven o'clock
- 7:15 - quarter past seven / seven fifteen
- 7:30 - half past seven
- 7:45 - quarter to eight
Prepositions of time
- at + clock time: at six o'clock
- on + day or date: on Monday, on 5 March
- in + month, season, year: in July, in winter, in 2026
Dates are usually written 5 March 2026 and said the fifth of March.
