Fine distinctions
- albeit = although it is (followed by a phrase, not a clause): a useful, albeit imperfect, measure
- notwithstanding = despite: notwithstanding the delays, the project succeeded
- insofar as = to the extent that
- by the same token = following the same logic
- conversely = the opposite is also true
However contrasts, moreover adds, hence concludes. Mixing them blurs the logic of the paragraph.
